The Fritz Kreisler Society is organizing the International Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna for the 10th time. The competition is reliant on financial support from sponsors and funders, and it is only made possible by these contributions. From 1932 to 1938, Fritz Kreisler, a great philanthropist himself, awarded annually the Fritz Kreisler Prize to the best violin student of the Vienna Music Academy. Promoting the next generation of violinists was of great importance to him.
